Best Bars in Savannah!

Savannah is known for great food, but some people do not know that you are allowed to drink outside the restaurants! So here is what I consider the best bars based on location, view, price, and drinks (+fun).

Electric Moon Bar

When you head up to the rooftop, you will emerge into an electric haven with stunning river views! The bars are set against illuminated smokestacks and an open playground - featuring lawn games and slides. There you can find signature cocktails and high-energy music. This is undoubtedly one of the best bars in savannah, as it awakens anyone's playful self. You can start your night dancing on the dance floor or take a trip to Moon Deck Playground and enjoy delicious bites!

Top Deck Bar

This bar was originally a cotton warehouse back in 1859. Yet, you can still find a solid brick exterior, stone ballast accent, and exposed ceiling rafters. Top Deck offers fantastic views of the Memorial Bridge and Savannah historic River St. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy crafty cocktails during the sunset. The bar also serves small plates and a WHOLE charcuterie menu if you are hungry.

Ordinary Pub

Located in Downtown Savannah, this is one of the few remaining 200-year-old-basements. Yet, it provides guests with charm and great food. The bar is mainly known for being a “gastropub,” which features creative pub fare by Justin Grizzard and Daniel Gattone. The pub pays homage to the southern culture and international cuisine. This is the perfect place for a mimosa (bottomless mimosa every day, 3 pm-5 pm). The pub is geared towards an adult experience and offers rare bourbon, craft cocktails, locally brewed beers, and southern cocktails.

Myrtle and Rose

Inspired by the flowers used in the crowns often worn by muses in classical mythology, this rooftop garden is named for Myrtle & Rose, symbols of femininity, love, and romance. This romantic escape will transport guests with breathtaking views of Savannah's majestic river and charming historic district, featuring a selection of handcrafted shareable bites and fragrant, botanically inspired cocktails. Enjoy the special events and live music every weekend!

Peacock Lounge

An exclusive lounge in the heart of downtown Savannah serves delicately curated cocktails, small bites, and an unforgettable experience. Located underneath Flock To the Wock, this modern and chic interior offers excellent music and cocktails! It features two full-service bars and has a limited food menu serviced by Flock to the Wok. The bar opens in the evening and late at night and will have a maximum capacity of 49 people.
